NEXT MARKET: WEDNESDAY MAY 31, FROM 1:30-5:30PM
@ the Historic Train Depot, at the corner of Hwy 14 and
W. Seminary Street. The entrance is directly opposite the Kwik Trip. The Information Table is immediately to your right as you enter the Depot.
There is plenty of parking all around the Depot with accessible
parking right at the Depot.
Thank you to all the customers who visit the Richland Area Farmers' Market!
Keep in mind, we do accept EBT/SNAP benefits. Folks should just bring their card to the Information Table. We also continue our Youth Food Token Program. Young people ages 4-17 will receive two $1 tokens each time they come to the market, to spend on fruits and vegetables during the season.
For those customers taking advantage of our Boomerang Bag Program, (our new program promoting the use of cloth bags instead of one-time plastic bags) remember if you come back with the bag ready to use again at the market, you will receive a coupon to spend at the market.
We'll also be making another Tasting Table dish for sharing with our customers. Last week we had rice with spring onions, asparagus, and fresh bread. As we continue with the market we'll be adding more and more to our Tasting Table.
We now have plenty of baked goods at the market, along with produce, beef, eggs, nuts, flowers and honey.
For this week we hope to have lettuces, greens, asparagus, rhubarb, radishes, baked goods, breads, canned goods, bedding plants, hanging baskets, succulents, nuts, beef, eggs and flowers + more.
See you at the market.....

HIGHLIGHTS OF OUR 2022 SEASON
We were able to accept EBT/SNAP benefits for the very first time! We had many families use this benefit and we look forward to offering this program again!
FOOD TOKEN PROGRAM. This program for youth ages 4-17 is to encourage them to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. We had hundreds of children come with their families to the market and use this benefit during the 2022 season!
SENIOR VOUCHERS were accepted at the market this year as always.
More vendors were trained to accept them and we certainly will
continue this benefit.
Our TASTING TABLE was also successful. Each week we cooked up a meal using freshly picked vendor produce and offered a 'cup 'o the market' to customers.
Thank you to all our wonderful customers who faithfully came week after week.
Thank you for your willingness to taste some of the fruits of the market.
Thank you for your ongoing support just by coming to the market.
Thank you for your kind words.
