Our 2023 RAFM Season is over!
The Richland Area Farmers’ Market is officially over for 2023! Thank you to the Richland Area community for an amazing season. We had more customers than ever and our vendor numbers increased this year as well.
We were proud to be able to offer fresh local produce, eggs, honey, maple syrup, beef, and flowers from a three-county area.
We continued to provide services for EBT/SNAP recipients in addition to WIC and Senior Voucher program participants. Our Food Token program for younger shoppers is still very popular, and our new Boomerang Bag Program went quite well.
Our Tasting Table found more takers this year than ever, using our vendors’ produce to make tasty meals for customers to sample. Both sweet and savory dishes were prepared for curious and adventurous eaters.
I wanted to especially thank you all for coming out and supporting our market at our new location this season. A huge thanks goes to Marty Richards and Richland Tourism as well as the Richland Chamber of Commerce and Phil Nee at WRCO Radio! We couldn’t have had nearly as successful a market without these supportive people and organizations.
Don’t forget to visit our website, www.richlandareafarmersmarket.org to look through the myriad of photographs from the market. You can also see a whole season’s worth of products from all the vendors who participated in the market this year.
We also appreciated our musical entertainment this year….a local Klezmer Band and Remembering With Randy. They were great!
